I love video games. I heard yesterday that it was the 25th anniversary of Super Mario Bros. Which means I’ve been playing Nintendo games for roughly 25 years. Before that I had an Atari, and played Pong with the paddles, and also Pitfall, which was later made into a fancy video game. I still own my original Nintendo, Super Nintendo, N64, Game Cube, and finally the Wii. I also have an Xbox and Playstation 2. At the moment only the Wii is hooked up because you can play older games on it.
But to the point: My sister-in-law, who I will call Sis, gave me a Target gift card for my birthday. And this week Target had Super Mario Bros. Wii on sale for only $37! So I bought it.
I loves me my Mario. I started playing last night for about an hour. Ah, it brings back memories. And Yoshi is back and he’s so cute eating everything. I just have to get used to playing with the Wii controller for some of the movements. I’m happy .

That’s why I have so many systems. I have Nintendo for Mario and Zelda, Playstation for Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee and Abe’s Exodus, and Xbox for Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee and Stranger’s Wrath. I tend to stick with game franchises. And next year a new Zelda is supposed to come out for Wii! Hurray!
