IT’S JURASSIC PEACOCKS

At the LA Arboretum last week Hubby and I spotted something I’ve never seen before: a herd of peacocks. There were probably over 20 of them, I’m guessing they are young males, not yet ready to mate. But they totally made me think of the herds of dinosaurs in the grassy valley from the first Jurassic Park movie.

 

Run for your lives! They’re coming right for us!

 

 

 

MAMA PEAHEN AND HER BABY

Hubby and I went to the LA Arboretum last weekend to see what new flowers were in bloom, and to see if we could spot any baby critters. And we got to see a baby peacock! Called a peachick I believe. Or maybe a chickpea!! I know, I’m corny.

Oh noes! I have been spotted!!

I shall hide under mama.

And mama will kick some ass if anybody messes with her baby.
