I was in Oahu for the first few days at a conference. I arrived a day early so that I could hang out. I lucked out and got an ocean view room at the Ala Moana hotel. The funniest thing was the “balcony,” a two inch strip of concrete with a railing so I don’t find out when I open the sliding glass door. My view also included the Ala Moana regional park. Hotel was great by the way.
