HAWAII – HO’OMALUHIA BOTANICAL GARDEN 3

This is a Hala tree, otherwise known as Screw Pine or Tourist Pineapple because unfamiliar tourists think it’s a pineapple. The fruit is edible and the long leaves contain fibers used for weaving.
