JURY DUTY – BOO!!

So today I am at jury duty, and I am hoping that I do not get called for a jury. I have stuff to do this week. So let me start off with some of my complaints.

1. Apparently there are two court houses where jurors are supposed to show up. I did not know this, so when I saw a big long line of jurors outside a courthouse I got into it. After being in it for about 10 minutes I found out I was at the wrong spot. So then I had to rush over to the other location.

2. There is a woman six feet from me who is hacking up a lung. I’m going to be so pissed if I get sick. They should put her in another room. They should have a closet for sick people.

3. There is a rude person who is sitting in a chair and is using another chair as a foot rest, so his legs are totally blocking one of the walk ways and he barely moves if someone needs to get by. And he left to go on a break, and this woman sat there and was using a TV stand to put her laptop on and plug into the wall, and then this ass came back and said “I was sitting there, I’m really attached to this chair.” So he makes her move, and she is understandably pissed off, and he’s not even using the plug or anything. What an asshole.

One good thing is that the coffee shop is cheap. I got a pastry and large coffee for $3.50. One of those cheap packaged pastries that is one of my guilty pleasures. And there is free wifi here which is nice. I’m going to work on posting more New York photos.

 

AIRPORTS ARE BORING

i am sitting in the salt lake city airport waiting for my plane to baord and i have about 40 minutes left to go. the cool thing i discovered today is that i can download my boarding pass to my iphone and that is totally handy so i dont have to worry about printing it.

so as i got through security tbere was a family with a small screaming child and i thought, that kid will probably be pn my plane. now tbey are sitting near me at the gate, but there are three planes leaving in the nearby gates so i am hoping they are on a different flight. on the flight here i co cluded that children in neon orange shirts scream after seeing several screaming kids wearing that. the screaming kid near me now is in neon green, so now im guessing that neon colors make kids scream. they’re glad they didnt have to live through the 80’s.

there is a woman near me on a wheelchair. She is not on my flight but her flight leaves right before
mine. i think she might be on medication. she is very anxious and worried they will forget to bring her on board. she keeps asking me what time her flight is leaving. she asked me to get an attendant to answer her questions, and when i did the attendant gave me a look like she’s been dealing with this woman for a while now. i feel bad for the woman because its probably the meds that are making her act like this.

SIGH.

 

JUST COMPLAINING

so im back in the conference room but id rather go take a nap. so if youre ever in park city utah go to the no name bar. apparently its a good dive bar, as recommended by the guy at the ham carving station.

so i just won one of the raffle prizes, which is really cool. see, i dont complain about everything. although now i have to fit it in my carry on luggage. its kona coffee, tropical tea, a few bags of chocolate covered macadamia nuts, and a hat. very cool.
