KOREAN CULTURE AT THE L.A. ARBORETUM

06 Oct

On Saturday Hubby and I went to the Los Angeles Arboretum to attend the annual membership meeting and get free breakfast. On the same day was a Korean Cultural Festival which we decided to check out. Here are some pictures:

A peahen and her chicks, probably a few months old.

Pink Tree and Trash Bin

Woman in a traditional dress

Woman playing a traditional stringed instrument, sorry it's blurry, there was bad lighting.

A children's choir, doing hand movements as well. Lots of parents in the audience getting excited.

I imagine Hubby looked like this when he was little.

A Korean Pop singer, or as Hubby put it, a Korean PImp.

A sword fighting demonstration

Mmm, Korean taco truck

Mmm, Kalbi (BBQ beef) taco and spicy pork taco!
